The visible programme lasted approximately four to five hours, but the yacht’s operational commitment was considerably longer.

The vessel had to reposition from its normal operating area to Ataköy before embarkation and return after the guests disembarked. The route also involved additional navigation, marina arrangements, fuel, crew time and pre-event preparation.

For example, a group could embark at Ataköy Marina, experience the Bosphorus and later disembark at an appropriate central pier such as Kabataş—subject to pier availability and permissions, vessel suitability, weather, coach access and the final route.

This is not an automatic formula. The right decision depends on the event finish time, guest profile, mobility needs, weather, traffic, vessel contract, pier access and coach plan. However, it should be evaluated before a round trip to a distant marina is confirmed.

The most cost-effective route often becomes visible only when the complete guest journey is compared—not when yacht and transportation costs are assessed separately.

Why hotels outside the Bosphorus can still make strategic sense

A hotel outside the central Bosphorus area may provide better room-block value, larger meeting facilities, easier airport access or more practical coach logistics for a corporate group. Distance from the Bosphorus does not automatically make that hotel the wrong choice.

The correct comparison should include:
